Yard Sale on Saturday October 17th, from 9am-12 noon, in the MWC gym. If you have any items you wish to donate to the yard sale, they can bee dropped off at the school on Thursday and Friday, October 15-16, from 8am to 4pm. For pick up items, please call 855-5403. Come and support your Christian school; proceeds to help offset the cost of MCA’s year-end grad trip.
“Finding Joy in your Journey” Stonecroft Canada groups meet in Moncton each month. For October we’ll have Wendy Farha, who is a singer, songwriter, comedian and inspirational speaker from Montreal. Wendy is a survivor of breast cancer and clinical depression and speaks on how to overcome life’s obstacles with faith and courage. It is on Monday, October 26 at 6:30pm and Tuesday October 27 at 9:30am. It is at the Moncton After 5 dinner meeting at Curl Moncton, 80 Lockhart Avenue. The Cost is $15. Super Seniors is on Thursday October 15 at 10am in the Life Centre. We will be having a series of “Meet the Pastor” over the fall. Each of our pastors will be sharing about what is happening in their area of ministry and how we can better pray for them. The will also give a short message. This week Pastor Tim, our Lead Pastor will be sharing with us.
Wesleyan Women is having an event on October 19th at 7pm in the After Cafe. Special speaker, Carol Allison will be speaking about the Ukraine. Items needed for the ministry in Ukraine are baby powder, face clothes and diapers.
Purpose Driven Finances is on October 14th at 7pm with Pete Benson, Advisor & Author. He is a frequent guest on Fox business, & CNBC Financial shows; author of popular financial book, Money Enough for Life; and founder of Beacon Capital, now managing over 1/2 Billion dollars. He will be teaching a seminar for everyone in the community to learn about finances. Please plan to join us!
Pastor Appreciation Month is a great opportunity to express your appreciation to the Pastors here at MW. Pryme student ministries is a high energy youth program every week, Wednesdays 6:30-9pm. Air Band Battle is happening in November, register by October 28.
Young Adults gathering happens on Sunday from 7:00-8:30pm. From September 27 – November 1, Pastor Drew is going through a Five Week Prayer Series. Comedy Night (DVD) in the Hub on October 25.
