Welcome to Moncton Wesleyan! Join us on Sunday at 10:30am AST (pre-service starts at 10:15) for our new teaching series: “OVERWHELMED.” Do you feel like life is throwing at you a little more than you can take right now? God has a word this week for those who feel overwhelmed.

Masks and distancing will be required this Sunday. Service is live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube. And the sermons are also released as podcasts on Apple Podcasts, Soundcloud, and Spotify.

Remember to “Fall Back” by turning your clocks back Saturday (or trust your cellphone to do so :)). We’d love to see you this coming Sunday at 10:30 am for our service to worship together!

Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and the happy memories from the past can’t be recreated? GriefShare is putting on a seminar called “Surviving The Holidays” for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. You’ll learn how to navigate difficult emotions, traditions, and social events. The seminar is on Saturday, November 20th from 10 am – 12 pm. You’ll be welcomed by warm, caring people who understand what you are going through and want to help. To register, please go to griefshare.org

The last 20 months have presented many challenges for all of us. One of those challenges has been the loss of a loved one. For some of us, we were not able to honour, celebrate or say goodbye in the way we wanted. Moncton Wesleyan wants to give you that opportunity to honour them well. If you lost a loved one in the last 20 months and governmental protocols made it difficult to celebrate their life with family and friends, there will be a special memorial service on Sunday, November 28, at 6 pm to honour them. Please email jgildart@mw.church for further information.

Celebrate Recovery will be meeting in person this week on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.  Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday in the Life Centre at the church.  We help people find freedom and healing from all types of hurts, habits, and hangups.  For more information follow our Facebook page at mw.church/cr or you may contact Loana Colpitts, Director of Recovery at lcolpitts@mw.church
