Welcome to Moncton Wesleyan!

This is week 3 of our Fallen Heroes series. Pastor Joel will be sharing with us about “failing forward”.

Watch previous sermons online here!

Purity is a free, city-wide event for all men over 17 who are struggling with or interested in the topic of sex addiction and pornography. This will be a closed unrecorded event due to the sensitivity of the content being discussed. It will be on November 17 at 9am at SunnyBrae Baptist Church.

NEXT will be happening November 18 after the service! This is a chance for newcomers to meet pastors, staff, and to learn about next steps in your faith journey. Pizza, drinks, and dessert are provided. Children are welcome. The event lasts for 45 minutes, and it is hosted upstairs in the Family Centre.

The Women Arise Ladies tea is on Sunday November 25th, at 6:30pm. There will be a time of Christmas music, fellowship and sweets. Tickets are free, but bring mitts, a scarf or hat for us to donate to those in need. Please register at the information desk in the atrium, before or after the service by November 20, if you plan to come.

Jingle Bell Rock is quickly approaching on December 1 & 2! We are gearing up with extra fun for you to invite your friends and family to. Be sure to pick up postcard invitations in the atrium and spread the word online!

There are many opportunities to give during the Christmas season here at Moncton Wesleyan. We have Christmas sponsorship, giving to those in need; Christmas volunteering for those who are looking to help out; donations for harvest house; and are planning to serve those who are by themselves on Christmas day by having an event here at the church. For more details on these events check the printed upcoming, check your weekly email, or check out below!

Young Adults! Please join us on December 9th for a Christmas potluck in the Family Centre! We are excited to share a meal together and celebrate what God has been doing in our small groups this Fall. Bring a dish, and join us for a fun, relaxed evening!

We wish to come alongside those within our church family who may need help for the Christmas Season. To help, write an option on your Connection Card or go to mw.church/sponsor:

#1 – I love to give (a donation for sponsoring a family)

#2 – I love to shop (time to shop for a sponsored family)

#3 – I love to shop & give (full sponsor of a family in need)

Please contact Joyce by December 1! Thank you from the Care Department!

Christmas isn’t far off and to do the things we do for the Kingdom, here at Moncton Wesleyan. We have needs for people to wrap gifts, decorate the church for Christmas, donate time on Christmas Day and so much more.  Please check out the form at mw.church/christmashelp and let us know where you would like to serve.

We are starting the Christmas season off by collecting items for Harvest House! We will be gathering winter outerwear items for homeless people such as winter clothing for jackets, hats, and gloves. Please put items in the Because Love Changes Everything bin located in the Atrium. Thank you for helping our city’s less fortunate!

Christmas is traditionally a wonderful time for family and friends to all be together to share a festive dinner; however, for some people this is not always possible. This year we don’t want anyone to be “Home Alone” on Christmas DayIf you are going to be “Home Alone” this Christmas, we would like to invite you to join us at the church for a Turkey dinner, board games and a movie on Christmas Day, starting at 2pm and ending at 7pm. If you are interested in joining us for this special Day, please register online at mw.church/homealone

The Adult Christmas Dinner will be at Crandall University on December 9th at 6pm. Special Guest H.C. Wilson will be speaking. Tickets are available for $25 at the Information Centre on Sunday morning.

The Super Seniors Christmas Banquet will be held on December 5th in the Life Centre at Moncton Wesleyan @ 6pm. Tickets are $20, and available on Sundays at the Information Centre on Sunday morning, or at Super Seniors on Thursday.

Christmas Cafe is an evening of special music, delicious desserts, good coffee, and great friends.A relaxed evening of Christmas cheer. Our very own Moncton Wesleyan talent will be bringing various special musical numbers and we will be offering lots of goodies. Bring a friend, bring the family, and join us on December 15 at 7pm in the atrium.
