Welcome to Moncton Wesleyan!

What comes to mind when you think of God? Some people view God as distant and apathetic; others as angry and vengeful; still others as caring and intimately involved in our lives. We would love to invite you to join us in rediscovering God’s nature in our new sermon series, “What is God Like?”, on November 1st! Invite friends, family, neighbours, and coworkers! 

1 Thess. 5:12 says “And now, friends, we ask you to honour those leaders, who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience.”

This past month of October was Pastor Appreciation Month! Our pastors and staff want to thank our small groups and individual church members for showing their gratitude throughout the month with gifts and well-wishes. We are so blessed in ministering to this incredible church family, and showing you Christ’s love is the reason why we get up in the morning.

We are excited to introduce Moncton Wesleyan: Love & Be Loved Facebook Page, which is open to all those in our MW family who are 18 years of age and older. Our mission is about making connections and building relationships within our church and supporting one another to make MW feel like a smaller church. We believe this will be a great platform for gifting and receiving free gifts of tangible things, as well as time and talent and connecting with those within our Church. For more information, read the About section on the page. Please invite others from our church family, share, and post things you may no longer need that might bless others.

Each and every Wednesday, a new episode of “The Songs We Pray”, hosted by our Worship and Creative Arts Pastor, Marc Jolicoeur, is uploaded to our Facebook Page. Here, Pastor Marc takes a closer look at some of the songs we sing on Sunday mornings at Moncton Wesleyan and invites us to explore how their history, lyrics, and musical quality all inform the overall message they speak about God and our lives lived for Him. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already had the chance to–each episode brings new, deeper meaning to our familiar worship songs.

Sunday morning Kids’ World is open again! New guidelines and regulations are in place, but we are still providing a fun, safe, Christ-filled environment for your child to learn and grow spiritually. We look forward to having your kids with us in Kids’ World!

Furthermore, More for Moms is back to meeting in person! We welcome all mothers to join us on Monday nights in the Life Centre at 7:30pm for a time of fellowship together. Remember that childcare is not provided, but if that’s a problem, let’s chat! We can’t wait to see you there. Remember to wear a mask!

Guess what?! God is moving in PRYME. Our big goal at PRYME is to help students develop a faith of their own that lasts. Our services are every Wednesday at 7:00pm. You can register here to come in person or join us online here. We’d absolutely love for you partner with us in prayer, as we believe that God wants to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
