Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noël!

2023 went by in a hurry. It is incredible to think we are about to enter 2024. This past year we have been part of God growing our church, as we witnessed life change and celebrated many baptisms. Though the year has gone by quickly, there is so much we have to be thankful for and we give the glory to God. Last year at this time I mentioned that, “God is not even close to being done with us yet”. The calling on us and the church is growing, as others need to find the saving grace of the King.

Please allow me to say thank you for your unwavering generosity through 2023. Your tithes and offerings have continued to bless so many, accomplish so much ministry and forge partnerships locally, regionally and globally. You all are incredible!

Moncton Wesleyan is and will always be called to make a difference within our circles of influence, through missions, launching new Kingdom locations, and meeting the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities. As an extension of this vision, MW will continue to expand God’s impact through the annual Christmas Offering. $100,000 is our total goal again this year!

Each year God has led us to specific needs and this year is no different. God has once again led us to something amazing that we feel is specific for MW.

Human trafficking continues to bring harm to so many people and families. With over 50 million people current trapped in human trafficking, there is so much work left to be done. We will be partnering with Community of Hope. We plan to purchase an 8-passenger van to help secure transportation for rescuing victims and getting them to classes and medical appointments. $50,000 is our goal to be able to buy this vehicle, debt free for the ministry, as a global and local project.

$25,000 will be our goal for Teen Challenge, as a local and regional project. We are excited to continue our relationship with Teen Challenge, an organization that helps people with their addictions. This is to replenish the funds at the men’s facility in Memramcook and to launch a similar partnership with the women’s facility in St. John’s, to cover the intake cost for individuals to find freedom from their addiction, through the benefit of enrolling in this incredible ministry. We want to help others find HOPE and freedom in Christ by removing this financial burden from them.

$25,000 will be our goal for planting Kingdom Locations, as a regional project. This is to provide initial start up for launching and staff costs, as we begin answering the call to expand beyond 945 St. George Blvd into other communities along the eastern coast of New Brunswick. These new locations will continue to reach people with the freeing gospel of Jesus Christ, making a difference in communities.

Extra funds received beyond the $100,000 will further help start new Kingdom locations throughout New Brunswick.

God calls us to be active in spreading the message of freedom to those seeking or skeptic, by displaying our love and faith-filled generosity. As you prayerfully consider what God will ask you to do for the Christmas Offering, will you also pray about prioritizing your tithes and offerings to what God is doing here in our region through the ministry, mission and calling of Moncton Wesleyan?

From now until December 25, all gifts specifically designated as “CHRISTMAS“ will be tallied for these initiatives. In our New Year’s Eve service, we will announce the total amount raised. You will not want to miss an incredible moment in the life of our church!

The Pastors and staff would like to wish you a Merry Christmas, and may the peace of Christ be displayed each day through you!!!

With much love to each of you,

Jim Clements
Lead Pastor
